The worm has turned!

Now I know I am gonna get some shit for this, and I am pretty sure someone will make up another sockpuppet account to make some mean and cruel comments about me. I mean, that's just par for the course right now. Accounts popping up with the same name, attacking people for things they have said in a space said person doesn't even seem to exist in. Strange, but expected.

One thing I have found amusing recently is the assumption by some, that anything I say must be about them. An air of self importance maybe? Even more amusing is the action and reactions of said person. Choosing to reply to tweets of mine and my other half, being snotty and sarcastic, knowing full well we are blocked from viewing them in the first place. Is that chicken-shit behaviour or just plain stupid? I will let you decide.

Twitter is one a great place for speaking your mind, getting things out there, and generally having a voice. Sadly it is also a place where a lot of shit goes on, and people with multiple accounts launch attacks on people, and then back themselves up, using sock puppet accounts.
There is a fine line between using a secondary account to view things, for example, to be able to read the tweets to and about you, posted by someone who has blocked you, but insists on talking about you and trying to damage your reputation, and using a second, third, and forth account to back yourself up in arguments on Twitter and on forums.

Recently when using a secondary account to respond to such a tweet, someone decided it would be fun to "fat shame" and comment on my weight, and having an account I use for my cycling and running stuff. Mocking the fact I am trying to improve my health. Of course, in regular fashion, that tweet was swiftly deleted in the usual snipey chicken-shit fashion.
Having something to say is one thing, saying it is something else. But if you really mean it, believe it, and want to be respected, say it, and leave it be. Don't delete or edit it to try and protect the fake "good reputation" you believe you have. That's just lame!

Of course, I have had my fair share of low moments on social media, stooping to new depths to try and get a point across. That said, everything I have ever said is still there. I allow people to have their opinions, and even when they use fake accounts or anon accounts to post replies on my blog, making personal comments about my mental health (cos we all know mental health is a laughing matter eh), I am happy to leave the comments there. It's quite simple, if you want to talk shit about me, go for it, but don't cry when it comes right back at you.

A bit like now. With the worm turning violently on such a person. Threatening legal action for defamation, quoting libel law, as if anyone actually gives a shit about their reputation anyway. It is really quite hilarious how brave someone can be from afar. Levels of self importance climbing to dizzy new heights, acting as if they are not to be messed with.
It is sad though that others are dragged into the who mess, people being called to take sides, rushing to the defence of someone they think they know, all the while having no idea what sort of person they are defending or speaking up for.

It is quite ironic to be on the receiving end of treatment you are willing to dish out yourself, only to be upset by it. What's good for the goose... and all that!
I am sure the whole matter will blow over, but one day, one day it won't. All the people who have suffered the abuse and threats of such people always rise up in the end. Then the truth will be out there for people to judge for themselves. Calling people liars, or suggesting their comments are libellous is all well and good, but it only works for so long. There is no smoke without fire, and right now it is hard to see through the smoke!

Right, I await the first comments, from people who don't follow me on Twitter or on here, yet somehow stumble across the blog, and feel the need to "attack" me.

    1. Hmm interesting perspective you have there. I created this blog many years ago, long before this individual came along.
I'm free to express myself in any way I see fit. If I see bullshit, I call it that way.
In this case, it's what I see.

You are free to have your opinions on me, as I am on others. See the similarities??

I may have made a number of entries re the same matter, but it is equal if not lesser than the amount of times cheap shots have been taken at or about me.
      Thanks for your input.

    2. As for obsession. Interesting choice of description . The same description CB uses about anyone who says anything about him, especially on Twitter.

  3. LOL! you see a pretty bog standard word in the English language, and your first instinct is "the same description CB uses"

You can't even see your own obsessiveness, can you?

  4. Oh I can, this is the hilarious part. You are not telling me anything I am not aware of, or at least how some would perceive it.

However there are differences in our perceptions of the matter. You choose to use the description of obsessive to me, but I wonder what word you choose to use for a man who tweets about me from 4 different accounts, constantly trying (and failing) to stir things up.

My aim of these particular entries on the blog are to speak my mind, which I do. Don't like it? Then stop wasting your time reading it and replying. Repeating the same thing over and over. OK you think I am obsessed, I get it, thanks :)

    Been fun chatting.

  5. Maybe "Denis" would like to comment on any of the many other subject you have written about. Or maybe this is his obsession!

    1. I wonder. Seems only to be interested in the 4-5 posts about one person in particular, and nothing from the past 8-10 years about knife crime, fitness, mental health, loss of family members and loved one, dealing with grief etc.

Starting to wonder which one of us is actually obsessed now.

  6. Also worth pointing out that I am far from the only person on the internet who chooses to speak out and make negative comments about someone.
In fact, there is a whole forum thread right here with people with very few positive things to say about him.

Maybe you could go and tell them about themselves too eh.

  7. Setting up a sock puppet account to comment on the personal blog of someone you don't follow because you've blocked them & they've blocked you and labelling them obsessive ..... Pot/kettle spring to mind, much? If you just leave him alone then maybe, just maybe, he won't have anything to write about you any more Chris Beach. Why not think about that?

    1. Sounds logical, but I fear the issue here is the desire TO be talked about. Keeping the embers glowing just enough to keep that warm fuzzy feeling of importance going.
Just like was seen by the repeated posting from one of the many Twitter accounts, asking why someone was obsessed with him... Hmmm, sounds familiar that. :)

    2. Wasn't there someone called Matteo saying similar things? What happened to him?

    3. Mateo, oh he went off to a local Sydenham forum , the original not the new one that is trying to take off, and started posting rubbish. Ended up being deleted as it was believed to be a sock puppet account.

    4. Strange though, how they both just popped up, especially this Dennis person. Given that the link to this particular entry has never been shared. Must have just stumbled across it, and decided to comment on this particular one. At around the same time CB was accusing STF of being obsessed with him.

    5. And now you create a sock puppet called “not obsessed” which you then have a conversation with!

lol mate - you’re the gift that keeps giving. This is fucking hilarious! And obviously everyone’s “CB” and everything’s always about you!

    6. Dennis, while I agree with what not obsessed is saying but I can promise you that is not me.
You are starting to seem quite obsessed with this whole thing right now aren't you. To quote a great quote.... Get a grip man.

Amusing that you feel the fact that someone else dislikes CB must obviously be a sock puppet. Fuckin hilarious indeed.

Not sure what your point or end game is here, but feel free to continue to make a mug of yourself under a vague account name. And I will keep replying as myself, speaking for myself. If other choose to agree or disagree with you, that is up to them.

    7. of course it's not you! LOL

    8. Regardless of what you choose to believe, I guess only one of us actually knows. The other can only guess, assume, and throw about accusations.
Strange really, you came here to mock and shout that I was apparently obsessed and accusing people of things..... And now look where we are.

      Dear oh dear. Pathetic

  8. Look where we are. You’re a middle aged bloke. Behaving like a child, publicly on the internet. Seriously, take a long hard look at yourself.

    1. Was that directed at me or you?
Where have you ever seen me claim to be anything other than childish. However in the confines of my own blog, and whilst responsible for my own actions, I will say as I please, do as I please, and act whatever mental age I wish to.

You however, a complete stranger (apparently) have found a few blog entries which you disagree with, taken it upon yourself to play judge and jury, and have found me guilty of "obsession".
Meanwhile, you have persisted in engaging with someone you don't know, based on a few blog entries, and are now displaying the exact behaviours you initially called me out on.

      Go figure.
I really don't need a nobody to tell me how to conduct myself, or how you believe the rest of the internet perceive me. Whilst deciding that only a sockpuppet would possibly disagree with you.

Oh the irony, it's fantastic. Keep going Dennis, you are really making my day here.

    2. Dennis lad, maybe you could advise Chris Beach to have a long hard look at himself? After all, any local forum you go on there's an army of people calling him out and saying how utterly despicable he is. What an achievement. If I was Chris Beach that would make me take one hell of a long hard look at myself. Maybe he might like to ask himself why Michael has felt compelled to vent on here. I reckon you're telling the wrong person to do some inner soul searching pal.

    3. Lol. Chris Beach again! “Not obsessed”! Absolute weapon!

Even anon commenters on michael’s blog are obsessed with Chris beach! Love it. So consistent.

  10. Are you still “not obsessed”

LOL. Youre a absolute tool, mate. Stop talking to yourself on this crap blog and do something useful with your life.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Why don't you stop going on other peoples personal platforms and slagging them off? You don't have to read it, it's nothing to do with you (unless you ARE Chris Beach in which case I can see you have an interest but why use a sock puppet when you have always proudly proclaimed to use your real name at all times? Saying that, one only has to look at SE26life and all the sock puppet accounts on there chatting away to each other (creepy) to realise that's not a true and honest proclamation.) But if by any remote chance you're not Chris Beach then it's really very rude to go onto someone's blog, tell them it's crap and call them a tool, and it's really weird and creepy too.

  12. Lol hi Dennis, hope you are well. Thanks for the feedback much appreciated..

  13. As Dennis like to contribute so much maybe he would like to donate to Michaels London to Amsterdam cycle for St Christopher's Hospice. Yet another useful thing Michael is doing with his life.

  14. Where did Dennis go? Maybe he has run off into the sunset with Matteo? It is a shame really as I would be keen to know what Dennis's views are on Costa.
